An account has been set-up for you on fladda .wi.mit.edu.

Please use ssh to access fladda. There are 3 possibilities

depending on the type of computer you are using to access

fladda.

1) If that computer is another unix machine, then use the

command:

ssh -l username fladda.wi.mit.edu

where "username" is the name of your account on fladda.

2) If you're using a Windows PC which does not already have

any ssh software installed, then please download and install

ssh from:

ftp://ftp.ssh.com/pub/ssh/SSHWinClient-3.1.0-build235.exe

The version may be different when you access this site. Please download whatever SSHWinClient-*.*.*-build*.exe file they have available.

3) If you're using a Mac which does not already have ssh installed,

please download the MacSSH_PPC folder from the Applications volume of

Enigma and use the ssh program within it.

To change your password, log on to fladda and enter the above login and password information. Once you are logged in, type the command:

passwd

You will be prompted to retype your initial password, enter a new password and then re-enter the new one.

To log off fladda , type logout.
